This cable connects directly to a Phidget encoder interface. You can cut the other end of the cable off and solder the wires to your quadrature encoder.
The connector used is a Molex 50-57-9405.
This cable supports the index channel, which is used by some encoders for position homing. Encoder boards that don't support indexing can still use this cable to read the encoder.
