This connector can be attached to any J-type thermocouple by securing the exposed wires into the screw terminals, allowing for simple, solderless connectivity with other thermocouple wires. When you connect your thermocouple wires to either end of this adapter, make sure that you match it so that wires of the same polarity are connected. If you do not, you may experience incorrect sensor data.
