When you installed the drivers, did it prompt you to allow connections from Phidgets devices?

There was a security feature added to MacOS that blocks USB from extensions until you explicitly allow it. You can read about it and how to allow it here:

i believe i am having this same issue on sequoia.

looks like none of the phidget kext files made it into /system/Library/Frameworks/ nor into /system/Library/Extensions

Attemping to re-install the driver pkg does not work.

The first time I tried this, I may have hit "ok" when advised that kernel extensions were blocked. :(

No Phidgets-related options exist in the System Settings-->General-->Login Items and Extensions, etc.

help?

As an alternative, you can try the standalone control panel - this uses a driver extension instead of a kernel driver.

Thank you for the reply

Would this work for other applications beyond the control panel?

Is there a way to uninstall+reinstall? Or can I manually copy files to the kernel extensions directories?

The standalone control panel is install by copying it to the Applications folder and then opening it - it will ask to enable the extension. It is uninstalled by deleting it.

While it is installed, it's extension works for all other programs as well.

Most current-gen Phidgets don't require a kernel/system extension at all to function - it is required for Phidgets with a 'HID' USB Stack listed on their product spec page.

If your Phidget isn't showing up at all, it may be an issue with the Phidget or the USB cable - is the Phidget working on another computer? What Phidget are you using?
