Stepper Open is Recursive

Post by David.Peckham123 »

The Stepper Open VI also contains the Stepper Open VI. Labview 2020 was able to handle this, but Labview 2025 shows this as an error. Are there any plans to update the VI?

That is what I see in Labview 2020. I think it gets colored yellow because it is recursive. In Labview 2025, most of the lines into that block show up as broken. Do you know if there is a setting in Labview 2025 that can allow it to handle this?

Phidget open isn't the same block as Stepper open, so I'm not sure why it's giving the recursion error. Can you post the error you're getting? I don't have access to a copy of Labview 2025 at the moment.

Thanks. Some how the vi was changed or corrupted. When I place the other one, it is ok. Similar thing happened for close.
