Re: Phidget22 Node-RED Module Released

Hi mparadis

I'm using Node-Red in an industrial application. I have, on occasion, found that a certain node disconnects. Is there a way of reconnecting a node or the entire connection on timeout?

Thanks, Neil

Re: How to identify Phidget version and driver?

Thank you @mparadis but I need to reverse the question; for the two named devices, I dont know if they run under P21 or P22. Both versions tried but no update of firmware offered (greyed out option).

Nonetheless, both cards and connected Jrk21v3 motors work. Any idea?

Re: 737 Simulator on Phidgets, help needed....

hello mparadis, it looks like the old programm does not communicate with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 anymore. Do you have a clue for me, how to get HID / Joystick signal out of a phidget motor controller or a phidget 0/16/16 ...

Re: Actuator with optical encoder

Thanks for your reply mparadis. Here's another voltage ratio graph with the same extension/retraction/half-extension motion, but without the resistor on the output. Graph2.PNG Here are also pictures of the optical encoder at the back ...

Re: send pulse through phidget 8/8/8

If the relay can be activated by a 5V DC output, then the InterfaceKit 8/8/8 can activate it. Go to the product page for the 1018 PhidgetInterfaceKit 8/8/8 and go to the code samples tab. Select Java from the language drop-down and make sure one of the Digital Output boxes are checked. It will gene...

Re: Connect C62 BrainChild Temperature Controller to a phidget

Yes, looking at the C62 datasheet, it supports analog retransmission in the form of 4-20mA and 0-10VDC signals. Neither of these can be read directly by a VINT Hub port, so you'd need a DAQ1400 to read the 4-20mA signal, or a VCP1000 to read the 0-10VDC signal. Another thing you'd need to double ch...

Re: VCP1000_0: data rate vs data interval

Hello mparadis, Thank you for the response, and that makes sense on being necessary in the future, because data interval has an integer type. So actually I had rolled a data interval (ms) --> rate (Hz) converter myself for this ...

Re: Phidget22 Node-RED Module Released

Hi mparadis Thanks for quick reply. In my case changing the Voltage Range in VoltageInput Node and restarting the flow doesn't have any effect for some reason. But I remember it did work at start when I was making the flow. ...

Re: From steps/s to mm/s speed conversion

Hello mparadis Many thanks for your reply. Actually, I have a DBX1204-100 type linear actuator, and a stepper motor model 42BYGH48. I have checked the linear actuator, but I can't find the actual gear ratio of the ball screw. ...

Re: Can I use this sensor with a 1018_2B?

Yes, you can use this sensor with the 1018. In the technical specifications, it lists various output modes: 4-20mA, 0-5V, 0-10V, etc. You'll want to order the model that outputs a 0-5V signal if you want to connect it directly to the 1018's voltage inputs. You can cut your Phidget cable and solder ...
