Phidget 0/16/16 circuit question

Hello all,
This is my first time posting to this board, if this is not the correct post location, please let me know. I have a project with a button and 12v LED's. The project has 8 buttons along with 8 12v LED's. The LED lights need to operate independently of the button. Everything works perfectly from a programming/circuit design. I have reservations on where I have placed the power supply, it seems like I am back feeding the LED? Suggestions or advice? But to have a comment power supply for all the LED's, this seems like the best placement.
