EMI problem with servo

Hi, I have the HS-422 servo and it works fine. I then have a separate high voltage coil in the room which gives off a large electric field. The HS-422 flops around like a fish out of water when the coil is on. How can I stop this? The servo is hyper-sensitive to any EMF. I'm pretty sure its the servo and not the controller or USB hub.

Can I use a different servo with the phidgets controller? Can anyone recommend one that is not sensitive to EMF?

I verified it is the servo by disconnecting the controller and everything, and only applying 5V to it, as soon as there is some EMI in the room from my high voltage coil it twitches.

Would a digital servo stop this from happening? Does the PhidgetAdvancedServo 8-Motor
Controller support a digital servo such as the Hitec HS-5485HB?

Try putting a ferrite on the line going to the servo at the end the servo is on.

I tried that, I put a ferrite core on the wire and it didn't do anything. I have a digital servo on order, hopefully it works differently.

If anyone cares the HS-5485HB is not susceptible to high voltage electric or EM fields. This is probably valid for all digital servos.
