Difference: stepper motors 42BYGHW811 and 42BYGHM810

Postby TenaciousB » Sun Oct 21, 2012 5:26 am

Hello Forum,
I have 2 questions about stepper motors:
1.) Do someone know what`s the different between this two steeper motros?:
3303_0 - 42BYGHW811 NEMA-17 Bipolar 48mm Stepper
http://www.phidgets.com/products.php?ca ... _id=3303_0
3302_0 - 42BYGHM810 NEMA-17 Bipolar 48mm Stepper
http://www.phidgets.com/products.php?ca ... _id=3302_0

I know that the step angle of “42BYGHM810” is 0,9°, but isn’t the same, if you drive the “42BYGHW811” whit half steps?
2.) Have everyone perhaps a power curve of the motors? (full and half step would be nice)

I would be very pleased if someone could help me.
Many Thanks

They have different step angles and consequently different maximum RPMs.
