### Read 1124 - Precision Temperature Sensor with arduino

HI,

I use 1124 - Precision Temperature Sensor without a phidgets kit. I use an arduino to get the data.

I got these numbers :

Pin2: 0.81465201465201464
Pin2: 0.81465201465201464
Pin2: 0.81416361416361416
Pin2: 0.81465201465201464
Pin2: 0.81489621489621489
Pin2: 0.81562881562881562

And I read this from the manual, but I have problems to achieve good results:

Formulas

The Formula to translate SensorValue into Temperature is:
Temperature (°C) = (SensorValue x 0.2222) - 61.111

Other Interfacing Alternatives

If you want maximum accuracy, you can use the RawSensorValue property from the PhidgetInterfaceKit. To adjust a
formula, substitute (SensorValue) with (RawSensorValue / 4.095)

If the sensor is being interfaced to your own Analog to Digital Converter and not a Phidget device, our formulas can
be modified by replacing (SensorValue) with (Vin * 200). It is important to consider the voltage reference and input
voltage range of your ADC for full accuracy and range.

I tried this :

double v2 = ((pv2 * 200) * 0.2222) - 61.111;

Any help about to convert those reads to a Cº temperatute ?

What is the voltage reference and input voltage range of the ADC on the arduino? What is the voltage applied to the sensor?

"voltage reference and input voltage range of the ADC on the arduino?" = 5V

What is the voltage applied to the sensor? = 5V

How did you get those numbers on Pin2? Are they the voltages being measured by the arduino, or is it the result after using the formula for v2?

How are you connecting the 1124 Temperature sensor to the arduino?

What temperature are you expecting? Is it room temeprature?

Hi,

If it is direct read from an arduino analog pin.
I connected 1124 to 5V(red)+Ground(black)+Analog pin(white).
It is room temperature, something around 25Cº/ 77F.

There is something wrong in your code.

The analogRead() function for arduino is suppose to return an integer between 0 and 1023, but you are getting a decimal value.
