SBC in MAX/MSP

Postby yipp » Wed Jan 13, 2010 6:21 am

Hi all,

I've attached the SBC via a network cable, Windows XP.
Through Bonjour I can open and mess around with the 8/8/8 on board. However, in MAX/MSP I can't seem to communicate with the board, via the phidgetinterfacekit object.
Am I forgetting some setup thing?

regards
Woody

What function are you calling to open the interfacekit?

I'm just using the latest PhidgetInterfaceKit object that normally communicates with the phidget over USB.

Max/MSP doesn't support network open - this is something that will have to be added by us.

Hi Patrick,

Can we expect it anywhere soon?
We're kinda stuck with a cool SBC board now, which we can't control :-(

Hi,

Sorry for the wait - I've added remote support to Max/MSP, and the new version is on it's way to the downloads section now. Have a look at the included readme for usage.
