Enclosure - HELP

Postby aia » Mon Jan 19, 2009 6:49 pm

Hi everyone,

I need enclosure for phidgets components (sensors, joystick, rfid, ….).

Also, I’m thinking to add my micro-pc + phidgets 8/8/8 kit interface + PhidgetRFID + Touch Sensor+ Rotation Sensor + PhidgetTextLCD in one enclosure!! :?: :?:

Please give me some suggestion and idea about that. and please give me a very good enclosure shop.

Hello

Did you get any information about it? I'm currently looking for the same.

Regards

You can get very creative with cases. I've made several mini-ITX enclosures from a $15 case sold at Harbor Freight in the US (it's on sale for $10 every other month).

Despite being called 'aluminum', it is really made of 1/8" wood with a thin aluminum skin -- Cut-outs are very easily made with a sharp knife and some patience, or with with a very fine toothed jigsaw blade.
