Pi 4 not showing 4-ch phidget bridge

Hello,
We use a few Pis and have had them working for several months. After a Pi failure, we purchased a new pi-4 and went through our install process.
However, the 4-channel bridge is not being recognized. Typing lsusb shows the bridge but when executing the HelloWorld.c program that allows you to plug in and un-plug devices and show their mac addresses, nothing appears. We have tried multiple bridges and usb-cables. Looking for any ideas.
The bridges are plugged into a powered external hub.
