Postby edgarmartinez » Thu Apr 03, 2014 9:09 am

Hi!

I want to build a RFID card identification surface, aprox 20 cm X 20 cm, the surface should to be able to detect just one card at time.

Im not shure if just need to build a RFID readers (array/grid) when each RFID Reader have the same information..in order to extended the "identificacion area "
I´m right?
It sounds preatty easy but i think it is not....

thank´s for share your experience...

RFID readers will interfere with one another if they're close together and active at the same time. In order to have an array of readers, you must deactivate all of the readers except one using the AntennaOn property in the API. Then you can rapidly change which reader is active, resulting in an expanded read surface. Depending on how fast you switch, you will also need to hold the tag against the read surface for longer.

Generally I would say that 100ms per reader is a reasonable length of time.
