Using VBA

Postby Paul Klinkman » Mon Feb 08, 2010 9:36 am

Dear phidgeters,

I like to program in VBA in back of an Excel spreadsheet.

Once I figured out how to read and write data to cells, things got easy. I can easily change variables onscreen and then push command buttons to run my programs. Benefits include easy generation and massaging of huge data files, easy charts and goal seeking.

Can I use my phidget with VBA?

My current project is a solar tracker, using two actuators.

Yes, you can use Phidgets with VBA. This uses the COM API, and there are some VBA examples that you can download.
