When you call "open" on a Phidget channel, it will try to connect to the first channel it can find that fits the criteria you selected (DeviceSerialNumber, channel, etc). If you want to connect to both boards at the same time, make a second variable and set the DeviceSerialNumber for each. Have a look at this video on how to use multiple Phidgets.
