Sensor for measuring ammonia concentration in the air

Postby black_unicorn » Mon Jun 22, 2015 5:21 am

Can anyone recommend a sensor for measuring ammonia concentration in the air, compatible with Phidgets SBC 3?

Is for use in a poultry farm. Knowing this measure is a possible way to know when to raise the curtains for ventilation.

Thanks!

A quick search brings up this sensor, which seems to have 0-5V output. I'm not sure how reliable it is, but I don't think you're going to find a lot of good options because many chemical sensors tend to be expensive industrial probes that have poor compatibility with Phidgets.
