1014 Simple Questions

Postby crwk78 » Sat Mar 22, 2014 10:12 am

I've never bought anything like this before so please forgive my simple questions:

1) The card has one USB and four relays. Can I control each relay on the card independently or must they all switch on and off at the same time?

2) Can I mix and match AC / DC / different voltages on different relays on the same card (ie. 240V AC on one relay, 12V DC on another, 6V DC on another etc etc)?

Thanks,

Charlie K

1) Yes, you can control each relay separately- they behave as digital outputs in software, so it's as easy as accessing outputs[0] versus outputs[1].

2) Yes, the load side of each relay is electrically isolated from one another, so they can all run on different power as long as none of them surpass the voltage or current limit of the device.
