precision voltage sensor

Postby speed » Wed Aug 12, 2009 4:34 pm

i am testing the precision voltage sensor connected to a 5vdc source that is putting out a constant voltage, but the sensor value is jumping around so much that it is not usable. i have tried different sensitivity settings, but it either changes too much or is too inaccurate. am i missing something? i am wanting to use this to monitor line current using a current transformer with a variable voltage output and need a fair degree of accuracy. thanks in advance for any help or suggestions

Make sure that ratiometric is set to off. How much is it fluctuating?

yes ratiometric is off. it is hard to see the numbers because the change so fast, but it will fluxuate between 790 and 840 with the voltage not changing and a sensor change trigger of 10
