Datalogging

Postby redbos » Wed Mar 06, 2013 12:40 pm

Hello,

I'm fairly new to phidgets, and was looking for information on how to datalog the information being pulled from a phidget and its attached sensors. Are there any basic packages that could collect this and dump into a .csv file? or software that allows that data to be easily pulled up, charted, exported?

My application will be sensing ph/temp in several tubs and room temp/rh. I would like data pulled at 15 sec intervals.

Thanks for any insight!

Here is one of our pages showing how to datalog with a thermocouple. But you can use this to get an idea of how its done and change it to work for your pH/temp sensors.

Re: Datalogging and HMIs

Great! This is good info. I will start work on this soon, and report back to the group. My goal is to setup something that others can easily deploy, but that may be a ways off.

Are there any users out there working on universal setups for datalogging? or even going as far as an HMI for phidgets?
