Adding Dictionary Key in VB6

Postby chamberw » Thu Mar 11, 2010 3:49 pm

Starting to work with the Dictionary/Webservice and Keys etc.
The "Dictionary-Simple" example works fine, even connected remotely via wireless, etc. And I can add new keys by just manually typing them in the webservice window, and the example recognizes it etc.

Now I am ready to move on with other pieces. I can not get a KEY added to the existing DICT dictionary by writing code into the example's code.

To add a new key (such as NewKey), with a value of 99, shouldn't I just add lines such as
Dim NewKey as String
Dict.Add NewKey, 99
and it should appear in the DICT dictionary window list of keys?

I get no errors in compiling, just nothing happens at all. (I had added a command button to add the key after starting the program.)

Help?
