Phidget 3525 photoelectric sensor black cable gives 0.67v

Hello, I connected a receiver photoelectric sensor using the diagram, blue cable to ground, brown to vcc +12V DC , the black cable should output 0 when in direct contact with de transmitter IR LED Light beam (that one is also connected to 12V DC) and when not in direct contact with the IR LED Light beam it should output more than 4V DC is this correct? Mine is outputs 0.33V DC when in contact and 0.67VDC when not in direct contact with the IR LED. It works but, I can't read the measure as a digital input in my phidget 1012 because it needs more than 4V to register the input.
