servo motor

Postby eff0919 » Mon Dec 19, 2011 4:43 pm

The servo motor I'm using now is HS-322HD, but it can only make 270 revolutions. Now I need a new one that can make a full revolution.. Dose anyone have any good recommendations?

Thanks~~~

3201 Will do 8 revolutions, but it's a much bigger servo then the 322HD. We also offer some continuous rotation servos, but they don't have any position feedback. A true 360 degree servo is not common.

I needed the same thing, having tried a Hitec 1425 (too slow) I ended up switching to a DC motor, a rotary encoder and the Phidgets DC controller board (which is excellent).

Yes, another option would be a stepper.

A DC motor with encoder or Stepper also offers you much more precision/capability then an RC Servo.
