Millimetric RFID

Postby amrouch » Sat Jun 22, 2013 6:15 pm

Hello everyone,
I am a registered thèsar first PhD in electrical engineering, my thesis focuses on RF circuits and antennas in particular I work on RFID technology in the millimeter band.
I ask you is what can make chips used in other frequency bands such as LF, HF or UHF for use in the millimeter band 60GHz.
if so can you give me if you like me some chip model, and if this is not the case then what is the solution?
thank you in advance

Microwave RFID is still an experimental/research technology, so I don't think you'll find any commercial chips that support a frequency that high. You're probably better off asking other engineers in your department.
