Phidgets 1041 Connection Problems

Postby austin.christensen » Tue Jul 02, 2013 3:10 pm

I have installed the Phidgets library, have been able to access the accelerometer using the Phidget Control Panel. When I try to connect to the accelerometer through LabVIEW, the 1041 always times out during the Wait Attach subvi. The error code reported is 7013 "Given timeout has been exceeded." I have the timeout set at 5000ms which is more than enough for a handshake.

I am entering the correct serial number (checked it 5 times) but can not get the sensor connected.

Thoughts or suggestions?

Make sure you don't have the control panel example open while trying to run your labview program. Also make sure you are using the spatial object and not the accelerometer

I found out the accelerometer VI doesn't work with the spatial type sensors the hard way I guess.
Thanks for the help
