develop a Flash/AS3 app that can connect to android device

Postby Jeff » Thu May 26, 2011 9:13 am

Hi,
I would like to know if there are any plans in the works for
Android drivers, like you have for iOS and Windows Mobile.
If not, is it possible to develop a Flash/AS3 app that can connect to
A device like the 1011 PhidgetInterfaceKit 2/2/2 via the USB port
on a Android phone or device?

It's on our list, but I'm not sure when we'll have time to develop support.

hi

i actually had this same question, and see that the response was almost a year ago. any progress on this? I have seen a few things about android around, but am having a hard time finding what i am looking for.

i aim to have an air app running on an android device connected directly to a servo control board, and an air app on the device controlling the servos. thanks!

We do have an Android library now - it's a Java library, meant for normal Android app development in Java.
