problems reading resistance (bridge - 1046)

I am connecting one of the channels of the bridge in full bridge configuration, using 3x 1k precision resistors. Then I proceed with the calibration using 100ohms and 1K also precision.
Under windows the program finds the equation and carries out the identification of 100&1k resistors fine, but when I try the 10k resistor it reports junk. Why?

I believe this is because a wheatstone bridge circuit can only correctly measure a resistance up to a maximum of the resistance of it's other resistors. Since you're using 1K resistors, it will start to give incorrect readings after a resistance of 1K. If you're using load cells or strain gauges, their internal resistance is usually 1K or less.
