1018 Interface Kit with Lanbao PR18S-TM10DNO tripwire sensor

I'm using the 1018 interface kit in combination with Lanbao PR18S-TM10DNO Photoelectric Tripwire Sensor, and I'm wondering if the operating indicator green LED on the emitter will turn on when the power supply is plugged in, or if the emitter requires programming to turn on?
