is there a USB Serial NMEA driver for the phidgets usb gps?. that will make it work with just about ANY gps software including centrafuse

or is there something i'm missing ?

cheers ppl :)

phidgets + centrafuse + 3g + gps + odb2 , means we can check/control the hydrogen units anywhere in aus and get there loc , and see what the trucks are doing

It would be a nice feature, but since basically every GPS on the market already exposes NMEA over serial, we are focussing on bringing out the location data via our own API - which is (hopefully) nicer to work with then raw NMEA over serial, and users that needs just standard serial NMEA have many choices.

That being said, I'd probably implement it if I ever get the time simply because I think it's a nice feature.
