please first excuse me for my bad english. I'm currently trying to operates the PhidgetInterfaceKit0/0/8 with Labview and I don't sucess at all. I have some knowledge about Labview, but close to nothing concerning ActiveX control. I have tried to understand the phidget exemples about interfacekit, but I don't understand them, and I think they do not concern entirely my interface kit. I don't arrive to found which part is useful for me or not. All what I want to do is to make a VI which will make it possible to activate or desactivate the relays thanks to booleans, in order to integrate this VI to a bigger one. I also have searched on the web and in the phidget documentation and I didn't find anything.

I would be grateful if someone could help me, this is the last part of my project and I would love to complete it. Thank's a lot for reading me.

EDIT: I read on this forum that is it required to install the phidgets drivers previous to installing Labview and MAX. Do I understand it well?

Yes, you need to install the drivers. The interfacekit example should work with the 0/0/8 - just ignore the parts that deal with inputs and sensors.

Finally, after a lot of test, I uninstalled Labview and reinstall it. As a big suprise, the second interfacekit exemple works.

I faced an other problem. In fact, I'm not sure about it. Sometime, I get this error: -2147319779. I think there is a relation with the phidget manager but I can't explain it. Do you know why this error happens?

Concerning the use with Labview, I was wondering if it is possible to avoid the message "please wait while windows is configuring the phidgets librairies" and numerous ok buttons (with nothing write in the windows, is it the same for you?). Could we configure it definitly one time? If yes, how?
I read one the forum "
You have to add a reference to the phidget libraries, sorry I can't remember where you do this in Labview, possibly under the Project menu?"
in the post "phidget interface" but I'm not sure this concerne what I would like to do and I dont find where I could do that.

The complete error message. Nothing important in french, that just say that the reason for the error is unknow. I note it as a save.

Well, I'm gonna do the questions and answers. Maybe that could help other people. I don't understand the error. Finally, there seems to have direct link with the fact that the phidgetmanager is lauch or not. More strange: after an other stack of test, I finally get the error all the time, then a new one: "error 1555: the know method is corrupted" (approximated translation).

I get the error even with the original exemple, whereas with my first test it always work. Then, I have reinstalled the phidgets librairies and now, I have got no error anymore (for the moment) and better: I also don't have the message "wait while windows is configuring..."

So, this is more and more mysterious for me but hopefully, it become better and better. Well, if someone could explain to me what's happened, it will be very kind. I'm curious to understand why; moreover, I will have to make that work on another computer, I hope there will be no complications.
