I thought I was doing this right.

I have a wire going out from output # 4 going to a 12VDC coil relay and returning to the ground.

I am getting nothing, no power.

I've hooked it up to my multimeter and I am still getting no current.

Does it matter which ground I hook it into? Does it matter if I am running it on a laptop usb port?

Okay...I finally read the manual and found out that I need a power source to trigger the relay. The 0/16/16 doesn't provide output power. I should have RTFM.
