Can somebody please point me in the right direction?

I am looking for 500-1000 CPR rotary shaft encoders, but need to be 25mm or smaller in diameter. Quadrature type with 4 or 5 wire, this is what is specified to work with phidget 1065 board. Also known as open ended? Not sure what that means.

Want to shop online from any reliable source, live in South Africa so very limited with local resources.
