I have attached to an SBC in the past on this computer with no problem. Now when I try to attach they won't show up in the Phidget control panel? Power is hooked up ethernet cable is hooked up Computer says limited or no connectivity. the red and green lights are on on the SBC. but nothing shows up in the control panel? I have 2 SBC1 and one SBC2 and none of them will show up? I swapped ethernet cables with no effect.

If your computer says limited or no connectivity that is usually a sign that your network connection is down. Are you sure your computer is properly connected to the network?

The limited connectivity message is expected - this means that it's using link-local.

Are the SBCs setup to use static IPs? They need to be configured for DHCP for this configuration to work - or you need to set your computer to a static IP in the same subnet.

You could also try closing/reopening the phidgets control panel. Sometimes it can lose track of zeroconf devices.

I set a static ip on my computer and reset the SBC. It now shows that I'm connected, but when i bring up the control panel still nothing shows up in the sbc tab.

It sounds like your Bonjour install may be messed up.

Try installing this version: www.phidgets.com/downloads/bonjoursdksetup.exe
