Hi I just purchased a pH electrode and adaptor from Phidgets and I'm really happy with them. I would like to monitor other common water quality variables such as dissolved oxygen and conductivity. I noticed that the Chinese manifacturer of the pH probe also makes these probes. Is Phidgets considering selling these types of sensors (hopefully with adaptors) in the future? I'm pretty sure that there would be a market with the hobby brewers, aquarium and hydrophobic folks.
Regards-John

I have used this conductivity sensor that provides 0-5vdc for 1018 adapter.

I am in the process of setting up several of these also.
But I think I'm having impedance mis-match.

I can't get the resolution to match a 3rd party sensor.
Did you use a resistor across the sense lines?

Well, worked that out. A bug in the code, a pilot error or 2.

Yep, working just fine and the little trim pot makes it perfect.
As simple a solution as can be.

you are right about the impedance mis-match. I notice when connecting the sensor to Arduino in this case , voltage drops about 50mv, however with the calibration trimpot it can be compensated and will not effect on linearity.

Hi !
I am also looking for a conductivity sensor to interface with my 1018 (8/8/8).
Could you specify the exact model you used from http://webpages.charter.net/tdsmeter/conductivity.html ?

Maybe you could also provide a cabling scheme to the 1018 ?

And finally, is the Phidhets pH/ORP Adapter required ?

Best regards

Yes
Model A1002 for inline applications which already has the built in electrode.
Model A1003 if you have your own ec probe . Both work fine
