I am considering utilizing the Voltage Sensor to make a VSWR meter as part of a homebrew antenna control system. There are two methods for sensing VSWR. One is a directional measurement that reads the magnitude of the forward and reflected waves and performs the calculation to derive the ratio. The second method utilizes impedance matching (or mismatching) via an impedance bridge circuit.

What I was wondering is if anyone has tried this yet, what method did they use, and how well did it work. I am considering making it a directional system as it would be the easiest to build and would be more useful across a wider range of frequencies, but thought I would inquire.

Cheers
Charlie
