Hi

Only just come accross Phidgets but I'm interested in using it in some teaching to students who are learning to code for the first time. I'm obliged to use some of the setup where it's being taught i.e. Adobe Director in a OSX computer lab. From what I understand the Director solution is ActiveX based (so windows only) but has anybody come across/devised a way for this to work on OSX?

Thanks in advance
Garrett

I too have just discovered Phidgets, and I also work in OSX. Even worse, I work on an earlier version of Director.

My needs are simple, I just want to be able to control four external relays using Lingo calls.

Is Windows the ONLY platform that, say, the 1014 - PhidgetInterfaceKit 0/0/4 will work on?

We are not sure about MacOSX as we do not have a copy of Director. That code sample and information we have available was done on Windows using a trial of the software by someone who had worked here in the past to answer a support question.

I am not sure how it would work on MacOSX however. Perhaps the macOSX version has other ways to communicate to external libraries, but I am not sure.
